Entirely linked to the traditions of the region, the winery breaks new ground by increasing its harmony of taste and sugar content by soaking the shrunken berries for several hours. 136 kg of dry berries are added to the base. The wine matures in oak barrels for three years and then in the bottle for twelve months.
With its intense golden yellow colour and orange shades, the Tokaji Aszú stands out as soon as you pour it. The taste is intense and follows the scent of aromas. The dried scent of apricot and grapefruit is vivid. It exudes a scent of raisins, dried fruit, orange marmalade, quince, cinnamon, vanilla and blossom honey. During the tasting, one can feel the high sugar content that is so typical for the vintage, which achieves a perfect harmony with the acidity. A wine with a lot of finesse and a very long finish that presents itself to the connoisseur.
Lovely on its own or paired with goose liver terrine with quince jelly or with caramelized pear slices in orange sauce.
