One of the native vines of Friuli with the most ancient historical references, it is widespread in Colli di Rosazzo, thanks to the high quality wine it produces. Known for its fine, delicate perfume, this wine boasts a good level of natural acidity that makes it fresh and elegant.
The de-stemmed grapes undergo a soft squeezing process. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in steel containers maintained at controlled temperatures. Once fermentations are finished, the wine rests in yeasts for at least 4 months before bottling.
This straw-colored wine boasts a mid-range level of intensity. Its clean floral scents suggest melon and a light hint of citrus. To the palate, it’s clear-cut, very fresh and flavorful, coherently characterized by the citrus scents perceived by the nose.
It makes an excellent aperitif and proves a great match for salty sandwiches and starters in general. It’s also ideal for accompanying delicate first courses such as trofie pasta with pesto sauce and risotto with herbs.
