Lots of cranberry, raspberry and rhubarb on the nose, with a subtle hint of cinnamon. It has a nice kick of acidity which makes it a great wine to pair with fattier dishes like Gruyère cheese, New York Style cheese cake or even a simple pepperoni pizza.
The nose is a mix of savoury licorice and leather with bits of orange peel and cedar. The attack is medium weight with frim dry tannins, plenty of oak, coffee and spice, with a persistent burn in the warm finish.
